Fiber Ethernet Rapid Rollout Infrastructure System - FERRIS

The Fiber Ethernet Rapid Rollout Infrastructure System (FERRIS) is designed to ease secure network infrastructure deployment for temporary or semi-permanent military encampments. FERRIS distributes secure and unsecure, fiber based data networks from a central communication node to distributed command centers (e.g. tents, operations vehicles, fixed C2 centers, etc.).

Security is significantly enhanced by using fiber to distribute communications. The system consists of a master unit at a central, data distribution location and slave units at remote locations. Each master unit provides 16 SC-Duplex inputs for the central uplink, and 8 four-channel TFOCA-II outputs, with optional expansion up to 32 SC-Duplex inputs, 16 four-channel TFOCA-II outputs. The standard slave unit provides 3 four-channel TFOCA-II inputs, and 24 100BaseTX outputs. TFOCA-II cables are available in lengths of 350, 500, 1000, and 2000 feet; custom lengths are also available.

  • Securely extends existing communications network.

  • Rugged enclosure for extreme environments

  • Configurable for multiple communication protocols
