Centers Announces Annual Event
Spec Ops, Inc. to Showcase Twelve Rapidly
Deployable Command Centers
Ashland, VA –
Spec Ops, Inc. announced today that it will hold its annual
Spec Ops Days event in Ashland, VA on April 3-4, 2007. Spec Ops
Days offers organizations the unique opportunity to view and
discuss a broad range of deployable and fixed-wall Command and
Control (C2) infrastructure themes for both military and civil
preparedness environments. Spec Ops Days is open to all
Federal, Military, State, Homeland Security and Emergency
Management personnel as well as civilian personnel with an
interest in learning more about deployable operations centers.
After a successful 2006 Spec Ops Days in
its Chesapeake facility, Spec Ops is expanding this
year’s event to also include topics related to Command
and Control (C2/C4ISR) engineering and systems integration as
well as advanced R&D concepts centered on command and
control and tactical communications. With an expanded venue and
agenda, it is anticipated that 500-600 personnel will attend
including active duty/reserve military, facility security
officers, National Guard units, emergency management and
homeland security personnel and elected officials.
This year’s event will also
highlight the expansion by Spec Ops, Inc. in to an additional
20,000 s.f. manufacturing and assembly facility in Ashland.
Spec Ops, Inc. currently occupies 45,000 s.f. for its
manufacturing, engineering and systems integration programs.
There will be twelve (12) themed events
including Homeland Security Emergency Operations Centers (EOC),
National Guard Public Affairs Operations Center, Business
Continuity Operations Center, Army Battalion/Regimental
Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Port/Area Security Command
Center, FEMA/DHS C2 Deployable Node and Low Cost
Interoperability (communication) Solutions.
